UBDS³ — Ukrainian Biological Data Science Summer School

UBDS³ is an intensive two-week summer school focused on biological data science, combining strong theoretical foundations with extensive hands-on training. During the first week, participants explored key computational tools and methods, including omics data analysis, molecular dynamics, image processing, and structural biology.
The second week was dedicated to team-based mini research projects, where participants worked in small groups under the mentorship of leading international scientists. This format allowed them to apply newly acquired skills to real scientific questions while building interdisciplinary collaboration and professional networks.
UBDS³ was designed for life sciences students, aspiring bioinformaticians, and PhD researchers seeking to expand their data-driven skill set. We were pleased to contribute to this initiative as a partner and to support the development of the Ukrainian bioinformatics community.
